Computes the coplanar intersection of two objects.

Parameters

ellipse
Type: ceometric.VectorGeometry..::.Ellipse
An ellipse coplanar to the triangle.

Return Value

Returns a PointSet containing the intersection points of the circumference of the triangle and the circumference of ellipse. This point set contains
  • 0 intersection points if the triangle is coplanar to ellipse but does not intersect ellipse
  • 1 to 6 intersection points if the triangle is coplanar to ellipse and somehow intersects ellipse
Returns null if the objects are not coplanar.

Remarks

Use Intersect3d(Ellipse) for non-coplanar intersection.
